Our Vision

We envision Christ Community Covenant Church as a community of believers, but open to anyone searching for the truth. We are a place that brings out the best in each other and yet we can still be weak and transparent. Through the leading of the Holy Spirit, we desire to listen well to the Lord’s voice, through prayer and wrestling with the truths of His Word. As we listen, we are drawn into the current of discipleship that gently carries us from newness in Jesus to fullness in Jesus. We relish our freedom in Christ but are constrained by his high calling as He transforms our character into the likeness of His Son. Our heart is focused first on God and is available for all to see.

Christ is THE HERO; it is not about us. Our fondest desire is to serve Jesus well by participating in the great commission to make disciples of all nations. We desire to obey the prompting of the Holy Spirit in serving our world with grace and mercy toward all. Because of our love-based obedience to God, we love our fellow believers as Christ loves us, and we love our neighbors as we love ourselves. We long to be a place through which Jesus’ light will shine in a dark world bringing glory to Him whom we love only because He first loved us.

Our Mission

To be a 100-fold, family-focused church of Super Sheep.

The 100-Fold Church draws her inspiration from the Parable of the Seeds and Soil in Mark 4:3-20 and parallels. In this Kingdom parable, Jesus describes the spreading of the Word in the hearts of mankind as the sowing of seeds onto various conditions of soil. Three conditions made it impossible for the seed to grow and produce fruit: hardness of heart, shallowness of faith and worries and deceit of the world. Contrasted with this sadness is the hope of good soil, hearts prepared to enjoy a miraculous harvest of God; thirty, sixty to even One Hundred Fold. A great good deed of divine proportions that none can mistake for anything but the handiwork of God.

A 100-Fold Church is comprised of at least the following five paired characteristics.

Externally focused & Kingdom driven
Abounding in Grace & Bold in truth
Socially concerned & Culturally transforming
Loving unconditionally & Radically obedient
